On behalf of our church family, I would like to invite you to the First Baptist Church of Altamont. I believe you will be greeted warmly and made to feel at home. I also believe you will have a positive experience in which you will be able to worship freely and joyfully.

Pastor Bill
Pastor Bill Weaver came to Altamont in February 2018. He received his Master of Divinity Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2017. He served as a pastoral intern for 3 years at Lakeview Baptist Church in Auburn, Alabama while completing this degree. Prior to that, Pastor Bill served 25 years in the U.S. Air Force. He retired in 2012. God called Bill and his wife Angie to full time pastoral ministry after his retirement.
Pastor Bill and his wife, Angie, have been married over 30 years and have 5 children, Jonathan, Lydia, Bethany, Serena, and Alice’, and 5 grandchildren, Silas, Corrie Rose, Jackson, Haddon, and Sawyer. They met while attending college at Auburn University. They have served together in 12 churches over the years. They would love to meet you and get to know you.
